Real data, real devices

Carrier maps show what they want you to see. Bodholdt shows what users actually measured: carrier name, signal strength, network generation, and cell tower, on real phones, on real cellular connections. No Wi-Fi. No estimates.

Freshness is the point

Coverage changes. Towers go down. Carriers expand. Old data is worse than no data. Every test on the map shows when it was collected, so you can tell the difference between what's true today and what was true two years ago.

Honest about what we don't know

Sparse areas are shown as sparse. No coverage blob gets fabricated to fill the gap. If there are only two tests in a county, the map shows two dots. Not a confident green shade that hasn't been earned.
